After having won the Artists Wanted's Exposure 2008 competition, blind photographer Pete Eckert has been featured in TIME Magazine, showed in numerous exhibitions and now, is being featured in HBO's documentary Dark Light: The Art of Blind Photographers, premiering tonight November 17th at 8pm on HBO. Produced by Academy Award-winning Neil Leifer (photographer and film director) and Corinne Marrinan, Dark Light "reveals the fascinating landscapes of the internal world of the blind".
